The kingdom of God is like a young man who took his surfboard to the sea. He did not create the waves, but he watched the water closely. Others were busy playing in the shallow tide, but he waited, quiet and still, scanning the horizon.
Then a wave rose—powerful and unseen by many. He paddled quickly, caught its timing, stood upon it, and was carried with strength he did not have. Those who saw him marveled, but they did not know it was not his might, but his alignment.
So it is with those who walk by the Spirit. They do not move ahead of God, nor lag behind, but wait patiently to ride His movement at the right time. The one who waits and watches will be lifted. But the one who tries to create his own wave will be worn out by the tide.
